Develop and implement efficient procurement strategies and processes
Responsible for managing technical and non-technical procurements, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality materials and services.
Collaborate with internal departments/HODs to identify & understand procurement needs, develop procurement plans & forecast
Review Request for proposals (RFPs) / Procurement Requisitions
Identify potential suppliers & vendors, conduct market research, and evaluate suppliers’/vendors’ performance
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
Place purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of goods, materials and services
Ensure the timely bookings of GRNs against Pos and manage timely invoices/payments & monthly closing with Finance & Accounts Team
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and develop improvement plans as needed
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continually improve procurement processes and outcomes
Any other task assigned by Management
