Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Reels/Short Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in editing engaging short-form content, including reels, TikToks, and other social media videos. You will work closely with our content and marketing teams to produce videos that resonate with our audience and support our brand’s goals.

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.) optimized for social media platforms.
Add effects, transitions, and music to create engaging and eye-catching video content.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure videos align with campaign objectives and brand messaging.
Ensure consistency in quality, style, and branding across all video content.
Stay updated on trends and best practices in short-form video content and social media.
Revise and enhance videos based on feedback to meet project requirements.
Maintain an organized library of video assets and edited content.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Film, or a related field.
6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing, specifically for short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
Basic understanding of color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
Strong knowledge of social media video formats, trends, and best practices.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create engaging content.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Portfolio or examples of previous work are required.
