Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road and highway construction projects and be responsible for managing and controlling project costs.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract Stage: Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documents.
Analyze tender documents and bids from contractors.
Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
Post-Contract Stage: Monitor project progress and track costs.
Prepare interim and final valuations.
Manage variations and claims.
Resolve disputes and claims with contractors.
Prepare payment certificates.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks to the project budget.
Develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards.
