Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance professional with 6 months to 1 year of experience to support our finance department in managing financial records, transactions, and reports. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the finance team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Financial Reporting: Support in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports as required by the Finance Manager.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and expense reports.
- Bank Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in the system.
- Expense Management: Process expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies, ensuring timely approval and accurate reporting.
- Invoicing: Assist in generating and issuing invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and managing receivables.
- Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the finance team in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure that financial processes adhere to company policies and relevant regulations, assisting with audits and compliance checks.
- Support Month-End and Year-End Closing: Help in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Requirements
Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
