Academic Manager Maths/Science

American Lyceum International School is seeking a qualified and dynamic Academic Manager (Maths/Science) to lead our academic programs and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning within the Mathematics and Science departments. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the academic operations of the Maths and Science departments.
• Supervise lesson planning, curriculum coverage, and assessment standards.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student performance and teaching quality.
• Organize teacher training sessions and ensure academic compliance with school policies.
• Coordinate with the principal and academic head for policy implementation and reporting.
• Monitor syllabus completion and ensure timely exam preparation and result analysis.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience and at least 1 year in an academic leadership role (preferred).
• Strong command over O Level/IGCSE curriculum will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
