About the role
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across all properties. This role plays a key part in keeping the business financially organized by recording daily transactions, managing spreadsheets, and ensuring that booking and revenue data stay accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
· Record daily financial transactions (income, expenses, payments) accurately and on time
· Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking revenue, expenses, and property-wise performance
· Reconcile booking data (Airbnb/Booking.com) with recorded transactions
· Build new tracking sheets/templates as needed for different properties or reporting needs
· Maintain organized digital records for easy retrieval and audit
· Flag discrepancies or missing data to management
· Support month-end and year-end closing by ensuring records are complete
