Understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon), online payment processing, and ecommerce-specific financial metrics.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Monitor and reconcile ecommerce sales revenue, returns, and adjustments. Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
Perform regular analysis of Ecommerce-related expenses, including marketing costs, shipping, refunds, and transaction fees, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Oversee the reconciliation of payments received from online transactions across various payment gateways (credit cards, PayPal, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning for the Ecommerce segment of the business.
Provide insights into profitability, margins, and financial performance, including KPIs related to customer acquisition costs, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations relevant to Ecommerce businesses.
Work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to align financial goals with business strategies.
