Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Frontend Intern to join our team at Search O Pal. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in frontend web development and design using modern technologies and frameworks. As a Frontend Development Intern, you will collaborate with our experienced team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Support the integration of frontend components with backend systems.
Participate in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate implementation of user interface designs.
Assist in testing and debugging code to ensure applications are error-free and functional.
Explore and learn various UI, state management, and other libraries as required, such as Material-UI, React Query, React Table, Zustand, Reactstrap, among others.
Assist in writing and executing unit tests using tools like Jest/Enzyme and end-to-end tests using Cypress/Selenium.
Learn and utilize version control systems like Git and explore hosting platforms like Vercel.
Participate in CI/CD processes and explore tools such as Jenkins and Docker.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

Experience with frontend development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript is a plus.
A strong understanding of frontend development principles, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
Desire to learn and grow in frontend development with a good aesthetic sense and creativity.
Ability to work in a team environment, communicate effectively, and collaborate on projects.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest/Enzyme and Cypress/Selenium is desirable.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and hosting platforms like Vercel is a plus.
Interest in CI/CD processes and containerization with Docker is advantageous.
Possess a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field is preferred.

Job Type: Paid internship leading to full time job
