Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Designer at Friends Home Store in Islāmābād, Pakistan. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for creating innovative furniture designs, collaborating with carpenters, and implementing interior design concepts to enhance product aesthetics and functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually stunning 2D and 3D vector design for furniture items

• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and preferably 3D software

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design strategies and concepts

• Prepare detailed design specifications

• Generate accurate and realistic renderings, models, and drawings to effectively communicate design ideas

Requirements:

Qualifications

Furniture Design and Product Design skills
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks and Photoshop
Knowledge of Interior Design principles
Strong creativity and attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate design ideas
Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field
