HR Manager

Job Summary: The HR Manager oversees the human resources department of an insurance branch, ensuring that all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, are effectively managed. This role involves developing HR policies, managing staff development programs, handling employee issues, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of HR operations within the branch.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with various departments to address HR needs and resolve any issues.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire qualified candidates.
• Develop and execute employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
• Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees to promote growth and development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to improve HR processes and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve HR objectives and provide excellent employee support.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
