Job Description:

IT Support Officer provides technical assistance and solutions to users, ensuring the smooth functioning of an organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, both remotely and on-site.
Technical Support:
Providing first and second-level support to end-users, answering questions, and guiding them on using IT systems and applications.
Hardware and Software Management:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals (printers, etc.).
Network Administration:
Assisting with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
User Account Management:
Setting up new user accounts, managing passwords, and ensuring appropriate access permissions.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining records of IT incidents, solutions, and user issues, as well as creating documentation for procedures and troubleshooting steps.
