Java intern

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs comply with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the Java programming language.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
