MEAN Stack Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEAN Stack Developer to join our team. As a MEAN Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our web applications. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying these applications, from layout to functionality. Your expertise in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js) will be essential in creating user-friendly interfaces and seamless, scalable, and secure web applications.

Location: DHA Phase 8, Lahore

Timings: 4 PM-12 AM

Responsibilities

· Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js).

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.

· Write high-quality code following best practices and industry standards.

· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth application performance.

· Ensure the security of applications by implementing appropriate security measures and best practices.

· Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in web development and suggest improvements to enhance the performance and functionality of our applications.

· Collaborate with project managers and designers to gather requirements and create technical specifications.

· Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.

· Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Requirements:

· Strong experience in developing web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js).

· Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

· Experience with front-end frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.

· In-depth understanding of server-side programming languages such as Node.js and Express.js.

· Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

· Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

· Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong English communication skills.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

· Proven work experience of 3-4 years as a MEAN Stack Developer or a similar role.

· Portfolio of web applications developed using the MEAN stack.

· Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.

· Strong knowledge of database design and query optimization.

· Experience with agile development methodologies.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

· Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
