Plumber

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumber to join our dynamic team at Almawil Construction Company. This role is ideal for a diligent technician who specializes in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in new and existing buildings.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
• Fit and install appliances such as pipes, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and conditioners.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters on building projects.
• Provide cost estimates for residential and commercial plumbing services.
• Educate clients on and ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations associated with plumbing.

Requirements:

Diploma in Plumbing, vocational training, or equivalent educational background.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a plumber.

Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems.

Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).

Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.

Familiarity with plumbing codes, safety standards, and protocols for building inspections.
