We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including inventory management, financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee the daily accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle inventory accounting, including stock reconciliations and audits.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate records.
- Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledgers for inventory and other accounts.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management.
- Use accounting software and inventory management tools to ensure data accuracy.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in inventory management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in trading, retail, food, or inventory-based industries.
Familiarity with remote working tools (Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack).
Knowledge of UAE accounting and tax laws is a plus.
