Description

The Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients for our recruitment services. This is a hunter role focused on building our client base, generating new business opportunities, and closing deals to drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and research potential clients across target industries and sectors
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through connections, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events
  • Conduct market research to identify companies with active hiring needs
  • Generate meetings with decision-makers including HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Heads, and C-level executives

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing our recruitment solutions and value proposition
  • Understand prospective clients' hiring challenges and propose tailored recruitment strategies
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements
  • Close deals and convert prospects into active clients
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly new business revenue targets

Relationship Initiation

  • Build strong initial relationships with new clients to ensure smooth handover to delivery teams
  • Conduct needs analysis and create customized recruitment proposals
  • Position the company as a strategic talent partner, not just a vendor

Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Gather intelligence on client hiring patterns and workforce planning needs
  • Provide feedback to leadership on market opportunities and service gaps

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, meetings, and deals in CRM
  • Track conversion rates and sales cycle metrics
  • Provide regular reports on pipeline status and revenue forecasts
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in recruitment, staffing, or HR services
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and acquiring new clients
  • Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills with high resilience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated hunter mentality with entrepreneurial drive
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
