STACKWORX — Software Development Intern (Ruby on Rails / MERN Stack)

📍 Location: Johar Town, Lahore (On-site)

🕒 Duration: 2-Month Internship

💼 Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

📅 Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 Days a Week)

💰 Stipend: PKR 20,000 per month

About the Internship

Stackworx is looking for passionate and motivated Software Development Interns to join our engineering team. This internship is designed for recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on industry experience, strengthen their technical skills, and work on real-world software development projects.

Interns will collaborate with experienced developers, contribute to live projects, and gain exposure to modern development practices and technologies.

Internship Tracks

Track A — Ruby on Rails (RoR)

Track B — MERN Stack

• MongoDB

• Express.js

• React.js

• Node.js

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications.

• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.

• Support API development and integration.

• Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

• Collaborate with senior developers on project tasks.

• Learn and apply software development best practices.

• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

Ruby on Rails Track

• Basic understanding of Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.

MERN Stack Track

• Basic understanding of JavaScript and React.js.

• Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js.

• Basic knowledge of MongoDB.

Common Requirements

• Good understanding of programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Basic knowledge of Git and version control.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Passion for learning and growing in software development.

Eligibility

• Only candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

• Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with academic projects, GitHub repositories, personal projects, or freelance experience will be given preference.
