Sr. Technician

Sr. Technician job is available in Kasur, Punjab for a leading manufacturing company. An ideal candidate should have DAE Diploma in Electrical Engineering along with 2 years of relevant experience in electrical safety procedures, preventive maintenance practices, and PLC programming.

Sr. Technician job role is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems through maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response.

Timings: Shift Based

Location : Kasur, Punjab

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures during shutdowns, operations, and maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring their optimal functionality.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, minimizing downtime through quick and decisive action.
• Possess a strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical infrastructure.
• Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from various brands (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Fotek).
• Effectively troubleshoot and trace faults within control circuits.
• Operate and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, star-delta starters, Direct-On-Line starters (DOLs), and Motor Contactors (MCs).
• Maintain and operate Induction Motors and Servo Motors.
• Possess a thorough understanding of sensors like proximity sensors and photocells, including their working principles.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of earthing systems, crucial for safety and equipment protection.
• Have a working knowledge of Inkjet, thermal inkjet, and thermal printers used for labeling.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate weighing scales to ensure accurate measurements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of operational activities and log all maintenance data for future reference.
• Utilize various tools effectively, including multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, airflow meters, and meggers for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Complies with all safety regulations, including work permits and LOTO, to mitigate risks during electrical work.
