System Support Engineer [Job ID: 307269]

Analyzes local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media. Resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms. Develops network solutions to migrate or implement network installs via lab simulation and MOP preparation, specifications, and scripts. May lead cross functional teams or provide Engineering support. Will work as one of the team on site turn up and network focused on the migration from brownfield. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience. 4+ years of experience.

* Cisco and Juniper equipment experience required

* BGP, OSPF, and VRF design experience

* Site due diligence work done remotely

* Potentially work with Planning and Engineering to install new equipment for migration

* Lab up design if needed

* New router turn up and configuration

* MOP creation

* Prepare and submit firewall requests

* MOP execution in maintenance window

* Work through any fall out from migration

* No certification required

* 8-5 ET Monday – Friday

Spoken English must be fluent.

Telecom sector candidate is a plus.
