Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and implement visually appealing website layouts and themes using WordPress.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure the website's design aligns with content strategies.
• Ensure websites are optimized for search engines and performance.
• Conduct website testing to ensure functionality across different browsers and devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and WordPress updates to suggest improvements and new features.
• Work closely with clients or internal stakeholders to gather website requirements and feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or functionality issues on WordPress sites.
• Train clients or team members on managing and updating WordPress websites.

Qualifications:

• A strong portfolio of website designs and projects.
• Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin customization.
• Excellent skills in web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Sketch.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and ensuring designs comply with accessibility standards.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field is preferred but not required with sufficient portfolio evidence.
