Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the finance team in achieving timely and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledger entries.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Respond to vendor and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
Support the Finance Manager and team with ad-hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting support role.
Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office tools.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices.
