Job Title: Mechanical Technician – Escalator Maintenance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician specializing in escalator maintenance to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inspecting, repairing, and servicing escalators to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections of escalators to identify and address mechanical issues.
Diagnose malfunctions and execute necessary repairs, including replacing faulty components.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines during all maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate service records and document all performed tasks.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and escalator breakdowns.
Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of equipment.

Requirements:

Diploma DAE Mech
Proven experience in escalator maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in escalators (knowledge of Schneider brand will be a plus)
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
