Location: G1 Block, Johar Town, Lahore

Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

About the Role

Pakistan Solar Association is looking for a highly strategic, media-savvy, and influential communications professional to lead the organization’s public relations and strategic communications function.

This role is ideal for professionals who understand Pakistan’s energy and power landscape and can build strong industry narratives, engage media, influence policy conversations, and position the Association as the leading voice of the solar industry in Pakistan.

If you have experience in PR, communications, media relations, campaign management, stakeholder engagement, or energy-sector communications, this opportunity offers strong exposure, industry networking, and leadership growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-impact Communications & PR strategies
• Build and manage the Association’s media and communications cell
• Lead media relations, press engagement, and public narrative building
• Create strategic campaigns around solar energy, policy, and industry awareness
• Draft press releases, policy briefs, talking points, reports, and communication materials
• Coordinate with policymakers, government stakeholders, media houses, and industry leaders
• Translate technical and energy-related concepts into simple, engaging messaging
• Manage and strengthen digital presence including website, LinkedIn, publications, and social media
• Ensure consistent internal and external communication across stakeholders
• Support advocacy efforts and public awareness initiatives related to renewable energy and solar adoption

Candidate Requirements

4–6 years of experience in

• Public Relations
• Strategic Communications
• Corporate Communications
• Brand Management
• Media Relations

Strong understanding of:

• Pakistan’s power and energy sector
• Government and industry stakeholders
• Media landscape and public narratives

Proven experience in:

• Campaign execution
• Media engagement
• Stakeholder management
• Policy communication

Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments

Preferred Background:

• Experience in the solar, power, renewable energy, electrical, or energy sector
• Exposure to policy advocacy or industry engagement
• Experience working with technical or engineering teams
• Understanding of energy transition and sustainability communication
