Sr. Accountant

🎯 Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.

- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and company policies.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred).

- 5–8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, MS Excel).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Leadership and team management abilities.
