Job Description:
SANDS TECH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior SQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, be skilled in manual and automated testing, and demonstrate an analytical approach to problem-solving. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to meet both client and end-user expectations.
Responsibilities:
· Design and develop detailed test plans and strategies for various software projects.
· Conduct comprehensive manual testing and automate test cases where applicable.
· Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.
· Create, execute, and maintain test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
· Implement QA methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize testing efficiency.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and design, to ensure QA aligns with project goals.
· Conduct performance and load testing to ensure software stability and scalability.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, assisting with complex testing tasks and promoting knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
· 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
· Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar.
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
· Experience with documentation and defect tracking tools, e.g., Jira, TestRail.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
· Understanding of SDLC processes and agile methodologies is a plus.
