Location: New Garden Town, Lahore (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: PKR 100,000 – 150,000 per month

Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Accountant for one of our client companies, located in New Garden Town, Lahore. The selected candidate will work onsite from the Lahore office while managing the accounting operations of the client's UAE branch. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and accounts payable/receivable. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with the UAE team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the UAE branch.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Maintain inventory accounting records and reconcile stock transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing reports.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders in the UAE.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company financial policies.
  • Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with the UAE team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably managing UAE accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
  • Experience in inventory accounting and wholesale trading is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Odoo.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the textile, apparel, or wholesale trading industry will be an advantage.
  • ACCA, CA (Inter), CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification is preferred.

Previous experience working with UAE-based companies is highly desirable
