Data Entry Operator – Accounts

Location: Band Road, Near Babu Sabu Bridge, Lahore, Pakistan

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, BBA, or a related field

Salary: PKR 50,000 – 55,000 per month (Based on qualification, skills, and interview performance)

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Office Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Operator – Accounts to join our Accounts & Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates looking to build a career in accounting and finance. The selected candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial data, maintaining accounting records, and supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial transactions into the accounting system.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
  • Organize, scan, and file financial documents and supporting records.
  • Verify financial data before entry and report discrepancies when required.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Update customer and vendor information in the accounting system.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and accounting databases using Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist with bank record updates and document reconciliation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information and company records.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, BBA, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Good typing speed with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peachtree/Sage 50, or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel formulas and data management.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the Accounts & Finance department.
