Description
- Oversee procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions and high quality.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify material needs and forecast requirements.
- Review procurement requisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiate favorable terms for contracts and pricing.
- Manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and ensure inventory levels meet project demands.
- Oversee timely GRN bookings, invoice payments, and monthly closing processes with the Finance team
- Manage vendor development and contract management for all projects
- Forecast material requirements, perform cost analysis, and track quality and delivery as per project timelines
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor base for essential construction materials like stones, tiles, precast items, and more.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Engineers, Quality Teams, Accounts, and Storekeepers, to meet project needs
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering technical expertise and a results-driven approach
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Master’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field).
- 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience, with leadership roles in real estate, construction, or infrastructure industries.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, logistics, supplier management, and negotiation skills.
