Develop, review, and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational requirements.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with procurement policies and procedures.
Maintain vendor database, assess performance, and build long-term supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational procurement standards.
Conduct market research to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and new suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels in coordination with store and lab departments to avoid stock-outs.
Verify and approve requisitions, quotations, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
Work closely with finance for payment schedules, vendor reconciliations, and budget adherence.
Prepare procurement reports (consumption, supplier performance, price comparisons) for management.
Mentor and support junior procurement staff in daily operations.
