Role Description

SaaS Explain is looking for a Storyboard Artist to join our creative team. This is a remote, full-time position for someone who can translate scripts and creative concepts into engaging visual sequences and create clear, well-structured storyboards using Figma.The ideal candidate should have strong storyboarding and visual storytelling skills, with hands-on experience using Figma to create and present storyboards. The candidate should be able to understand scripts, plan scenes, organize visual sequences, and effectively communicate the flow and direction of a video through storyboards.

• Strong storytelling and creative thinking.
• Good understanding of visual composition and cinematography.
• Experience in creating professional storyboards.
• Strong understanding of shot composition, camera angles, and scene transitions.
• Ability to visualize scripts and communicate ideas through sketches.
• Must have hands-on experience with Figma.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow a creative brief.
• Experience with SaaS, product, or explainer videos and Figma is highly required
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in storyboarding, animation, motion design, or a related creative field is required.
• Hands-on experience with Figma is required.
• Portfolio is required. Candidates should share relevant storyboard work or samples demonstrating their visual storytelling skills.
