Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
About the Role
Pakistan Solar Association is looking for a dynamic and experienced Training & Certification Manager to lead and scale workforce development initiatives within the renewable energy and technical education sector.
We are hiring a Training & Certification Manager in Lahore with expertise in vocational training, technical education, and renewable energy programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in training program design, curriculum development, and certification management, particularly within the solar energy and workforce development sector. Experience working with TEVTA, NAVTTC, and technical training institutes in Pakistan is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement industry-aligned vocational training programs
- Develop and continuously improve training curricula based on market and certification standards
- Collaborate with TEVTA, PVTI, NAVTTC, and other training institutes
- Manage and oversee technical certification programs ensuring compliance with national/international standards
- Plan and execute training schedules, assessments, and evaluations
- Track training effectiveness through KPIs, reports, and performance analysis
- Lead and manage trainers, instructors, and external partners
- Handle training budgets, timelines, and project reporting
- Ensure continuous improvement in training quality and certification outcomes
- Support workforce development initiatives in the solar and renewable energy sector
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Renewable Energy, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
- Vocational Training / Technical Education
- Workforce Development
- OR Solar / Energy Sector Training
- Strong expertise in curriculum development & certification frameworks
- Hands-on experience in training program design, execution, and evaluation
- Familiarity with TEVTA, PVTI, NAVTTC or similar bodies
- Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Strong communication, reporting, and presentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in solar energy training or renewable certification programs
- Understanding of technical accreditation and skills development policies
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
- Ability to collaborate with government bodies and private sector stakeholders
