Web Researcher

We are looking to hire Web Researchers to work on various company projects.

A web/data/internet researcher is part of research team that generates specific data needed for any project in a competitive, flexible and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough research on Industries, Companies, Products, People, etc. based on requirement through the internet and online databases.
• Understand the required information and document the data.
• Identify search keywords and use them to research or harvest maximum information.
• Analyze and classify the information collected and put it in the desired output formats.
• Search and identify relevant websites as sources of information.
• Incorporate the relevant information in database in required format.

Qualifications

• Must be educated to degree level with a good command of English (writing, reading).
• Must have a very good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word & Excel).
• Must have the ability to search on the internet and online applications using appropriate search strings.
• Must have a basic knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday between 1 pm – 10 pm and other shifts if required.
• Good to have: Experience or knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)—particularly in understanding keyword research, content relevance, and search algorithms.
