BI Engineer - Consultant

As a BI Engineer Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for creating and managing the Looker semantic layer, building interactive dashboards, and empowering business users with self-service BI capabilities. This role is vital for providing data-driven insights and supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with Looker LookML, and a solid understanding of data modeling and analytics best practices. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers to ensure data quality, performance, and governance. This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing team.

• Design and manage LookML models and semantic layers for optimized data and metrics.
• Develop and maintain interactive Looker dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
• Enable self-service BI by designing user-friendly models and providing training to users.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and ensure data accuracy and performance in analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and efficient data pipelines.
