Role Overview

The Development Team Manager is responsible for leading and managing the entire software development team—including front-end, back-end, AI, and DevOps engineers—to deliver high-quality AI Agent products. This role ensures smooth coordination between business goals, design, and technical execution, with a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and user-friendly SaaS platforms. And hiring of the complete Dev team.

Key Responsibilities

. Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage developers across front-end, back-end, and AI engineering.
• Assign tasks, define milestones, and oversee daily/weekly progress.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster skill development.
• Build a positive and innovative engineering culture focused on quality and collaboration.

2. Technical Oversight

• Review and maintain high-quality code, architecture, and system performance.
• Ensure smooth integration of AI modules with the core SaaS product.
• Work closely with AI Engineers, DevOps, and UI/UX Designers on technical implementation.
• Define coding standards, documentation practices, and testing protocols.

3. Project & Delivery Management

· Plan, manage, and track multiple development sprints using Agile/Scrum methodology.

· Coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time project completion.

· Monitor KPIs such as velocity, bug rate, and code quality.

· Identify and mitigate technical risks or blockers.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Work with UI/UX Designers to align product design and development.
• Liaise with DevOps to ensure scalability, deployment efficiency, and infrastructure stability.
• Communicate progress and status updates to management and clients.

5. Strategic Involvement

• Contribute to product roadmaps and long-term technology strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging frameworks, tools, and AI integration opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in team workflows and system performance.

6. Recruitment & Training

• Participate in hiring processes for technical roles.
• Train and onboard new engineers to company standards.
• Organize technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

· Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python.

· Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).

· Familiarity with AI/ML integrations, APIs, and data-driven applications.

· Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Notion, Asana).

· Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills (Plus Points)

· Experience in building or managing SaaS or AI-powered products.

· Knowledge of LLMs, RAG pipelines, LangChain, or Generative AI integration.

· Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable API design.

· Experience working with international clients (U.S., EU, or Middle East markets).

Education

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

· Certifications in Project Management, Cloud, or Agile Leadership are a plus.
