Job Description:
We are seeking an DevOps Engineer with strong potential and growing expertise in major cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will focus on implementing and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud architectures using GCP and AWS
· Help develop and automate CI/CD pipelines for application deployments across multiple environments, particularly GitLab CI/CD
· Contribute to implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance, including Grafana Dashboard experience
· Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and tooling
· Support efforts to optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management strategies
· Assist in implementing security best practices and compliance requirements
· Provide support and troubleshooting for production systems
· Stay up-to-date with latest cloud technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
· 2-3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or relevant technical background
· Growing expertise in one of Cloud Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
· Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
· Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins etc.
· Familiarity with cloud-native services and serverless architectures
· Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, etc.
· Understanding of kubernetes cronjobs and simple VM cronjobs
· Understanding of Active Directory
· Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
· Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
