System Administration

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.

• Administer user accounts, access permissions, group policies, and authentication systems.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure business continuity.

• Perform system upgrades, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery activities.

• Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses, and infrastructure documentation.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

Security Monitoring & Operations

• Monitor security alerts, logs, endpoint activities, and suspicious events through security monitoring tools.

• Support and manage security solutions such as SIEM/Wazuh, antivirus/XDR, firewalls, Passbolt, and other monitoring platforms.

• Investigate security incidents, perform initial analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.

• Implement and maintain access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), system hardening, and security best practices.

• Conduct regular reviews of system logs, user activities, and security events to identify potential risks.

Governance, Risk & Compliance Support

• Coordinate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and GRC teams on security initiatives, audits, and compliance requirements.

• Assist in vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and security improvement projects.

• Maintain documentation related to systems, configurations, incidents, assets, and security controls.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required technical evidence and documentation.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of IT and information security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure Management, or IT Security.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.

• Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure fundamentals.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint security, log monitoring, and incident response processes.

• Experience with SIEM platforms (preferably Wazuh), backup solutions, and access management systems.

• Familiarity with security hardening, patch management, vulnerability management, and MFA implementation.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
