Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth industry knowledge about customs clearance processes, compliance regulations, and logistics challenges in Pakistan.
- Share insights on best practices, cost structures, risk management, and regulatory frameworks affecting import/export operations.
- Analyze the feasibility of implementing CIF + customs clearance & tax payment + local delivery models.
- Offer recommendations on potential customs clearance companies suitable for long-term partnerships.
- Discuss strategies to break down DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) services and create flexible logistics solutions for diverse business needs.
- Participate in consultation sessions, industry discussions, and strategic planning meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a professional customs clearance company in Pakistan.
- Certified Customs Clearance Specialist with relevant professional qualifications.
- Deep understanding of Pakistan’s import/export regulations, tariff structures, and compliance requirements.
- Strong network within the logistics and customs brokerage industry.
- Proven expertise in handling CIF, DDP, and tax-payment models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes clearly.
